We partnered with Josephine Benning and her team to create a refined and future-ready visual identity for The Hidden Grove, a wellness retreat hidden in the fragrant olive groves of Puglia.
Inspired by the twisting forms of ancient olive trees, gentle water ripples, and the organic flow of the body, the identity expresses a grounded yet elevated sanctuary rooted in Puglia’s natural rhythms.
The combination of bespoke lettering and pared-back, minimal design creates a logo that feels intentional rather than over-designed. Soft edge treatment to the letter outlines adds organic character and softens precision without becoming too rustic.
Anchored by olive green, terracotta orange and sun-washed neutrals, the colour story evokes vibrancy and calm while remaining adaptable for future brand extensions.
Designed with growth in mind, this approach allows for seamless expansion into illustrations, marks, and collateral, building a boutique-hospitality identity that can naturally expand into other brand expressions.
Every element speaks to ritualising rest, creating a sacred, sensory space that connects guests to the land and to themselves.
